I recently just started a online business and have received my first few orders - The product is hand made, so I needed to source parts/components etc. I started by ordering enough to make about 15 products to start with, as I had no idea if they would actually sell or not, and I didn't want to commit to hundreds of dollars worth of supplies. The issue now is that I have about 10 sales, and I am getting 1-2 a day. I obviously ordered in more supplies as soon as I realized this was going to be an issue, but they will not arrive till the end of next week, or even early the following week.
Should I create an alert on my site warning customers to expect delayed shipping due to volume being ordered, stop orders all together, or is there an alternative course of action I should take?
