Negative SEO earn by blogging adsense income

Hi

I work in a industry that has many competitors. We are finding more and more that they are creating 1000s of bad links on spam sites where they use our company name "keyword" and then when you go to the sites its either.

a) junk content

b) stolen content from our site + links back to competitor site

b) original content but then links back to competitor

We are disavow'ing as quickly as we can, but its constant. Thinking maybe we attack back - but really wanted to stay on the good side of this.

Any suggestions on what to do around Negative SEO - its a problem i have not really come across before.
