Starting my own small business, would appreciate some input from someone more experienced than myself. entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hello,

Recently I've had a huge idea and begun acting on it. I have decided to start my own small business.

The basic idea is taking my knowledge and experience of PC's, specifically building them, and using that to start a small business. The main idea is to have a client come to me with their budget of how much they want to spend on their PC, whether that be a high end gaming machine or a budget home computer, I'll make them a computer, buying the parts with their money, and charging them an extra for my labour. The extra money there being where I'll be making profit. Along with repairs and diagnostics.

I've begun researching what I need to do to go about starting this, at first I'd like it to be very local and personal, and therefore have set up an unpublished facebook page for it to advertise myself. I've made another email address (not a business one with a domain) for contact, and would also preferably accept messaging people through Facebook. I'm also unsure on if I have to register anything with the government and if I have to register as a sole trader. I'm from England.

I'm also somewhat considering purchasing my own domain to make things look a bit more professional.

I'm also wondering on how I could accept payments.

Any input, advice, anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
