What do you do with infographics? earn by blogging adsense income

I can create an infographic, but once it's created, what do I do with it?

Send it to people? Put it on my website and hope people repost it? Share it to social media?

If I'm doing all of this anyway, isn't it better to use my time and issue a press release or blog post with more textual information and some images attached?
