Can I skip use h3 after h2? Will this affect the SEO? earn by blogging adsense income

I am asking this because the H2 looks almost like H1 in terms of size for the font I am using. So I thought about using h3 instead of h2 which makes it much nicer to look at. Will this affect the SEO though.
