Buying backlinks earn by blogging adsense income

Hi there, I'm considering using a marketing agency to buy some links - is this at all dangerous?

I can't really take any risks as my income depends only on this business and I've worked hard on it.
They stress they only use whitehat methods, and don't use PBNs. Is there much risk involved with that?
