Hi there people! I recently got hired by a really cool company as a content writer. That's obviously good news and I'm really happy about it. However, the role is a bit more complicated than just writing content.
During my career so far, I've focused solely on writing. I have no problem doing the occasional keyword research here and there, but in most cases, I was given the target keywords for each piece of content.
Thing is, part of the new position is doing link building. I've never done that and I have been completely upfront with the company about it. However, I am keen to learn and I've read countless tutorials about it but I still can't quite understand where to start from.
Is this something that good content writers usually do? I tried following some techniques but it's a lot harder in practice than in theory. So, is super-linkable original content the only answer or is there something I'm missing?
Thank you!
