Low volume keywords/the low hanging fruit. What free tools do you use to find such type of keywords. earn by blogging adsense income

So I searched this subreddit to see if there are any posts related to this type of question, couldn't find many. I recently started a blog, I basically write about everything from blogging skills to recipes. I'm counting on pinterest as my traffic source, I've been tweaking my profile to fit it better into the whole platform. While I'm at it I thought about low volume keywords, something on which i can write about and get some organic traffic from it. Just wanted to ask you guys what kind of FREE websites do you use to find these low traffic keywords (I'm cheap) I've used ubersuggest but I don't trust it. My da is 8, just to give you a brief idea on what I've got going on (I know DA is just a number according to MOZ and google doesn't care about it)
