Thoughts on Web 2.0? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys, have a great Tuesday!

My question is about web 2.0 and specifically those platforms that allow you to submit your own article (or any content) with or without moderation. Are they even worth anything, considering that Google (read it yesterday but can't quite remember where) doesn't like links from such articles? I mean you get high DA backlink. Sometimes it's dofollow.

Also if they're worth anything should i be using quality content? (i have no possibility to use quality content often, unfortunately).
