Backlinks new URL earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys, One of my clients recently changed his url from a .co to a .com

We properly setup all the 301 redirects, but I'm not seeing the backlinks transfer to the new .com site. Is this not possible and is this hurting web ranking?
