Backlinks pointing to non SSL version of site, what happens? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey, I recently acquired a new link but the link points to the http version of the site, rather than https. Obviously I have a redirect set up so I assume the link juice will be passed to the https, is that correct? I don’t need to get them to change it? Thanks
