Should I be disavowing or leaving spammy backlinks from "The Globe" earn by blogging adsense income

I have recently taken over a new account in house and have noticed a large number of toxic backlinks on SEM rush backlink toxic score. They are mostly from "the glob: the world's most visited web pages" with various domains.

My question is whether or not these links can actually harm my organic performance? and if I should disavow them. I have seen mixed opinions in forums, some say to disavow and some say don't disavow as Google's algorithm already knows that they are spam.
