What's your answer for "What got you into/interested in SEO?" at a job interview? earn by blogging adsense income

As embarrassing it may sound, it took me literally 8 seconds to give an answer to this question because I didn’t know how to answer the question. Then I completely made up an answer by saying I just thought the concept of being able to rank a website in Google was cool and interesting. I feel like my answer is extremely bland and could have provided a much more interesting answer. How do you guys normally answer this question?
