Moz bar alternative earn by blogging adsense income

I've always used Moz bar to get a quick idea of page ranks for a keyword but I find it really clunky and often fails to log in.

Any free alternatives out there for getting a very rough sense of backlink profiles for a given keyword? Doesn't have to be a browser plugin
