Thoughts on buying expired domains in other languages and restoring content in English? earn by blogging adsense income

I am looking into restoring expired domains at the moment and have come across a nice domain. The content is all in German, but I am thinking about restoring it and translating to English. Anyone have any thoughts about how this could affect SEO of the site or how Google might interpret this change?
