Does it really take 6 months for my seo to start working? earn by blogging adsense income

I own a small business. I hired some “experts” 4 months ago to help my webpage appear higher on google searches.

I just got familiar with serps.com and another site where I can see if my site actually ranks on google searches in my surrounding towns for various keywords related to my business’s industry.

The results are terrible.

My seo guys say to be patient.

...so...are they just bullshitting me or should I give them another two months?
