Hi all,
In the past I've had success with little startups selling products both on and offline, now myself and a friend from university are looking into starting a website. We're pretty confident in the concept and I get that ad revenue and other monetisation methods can make websites a fortune, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips to grow the site without a physical product without just pouring in our own capital? It seems like we'd have to pay all the hosting, web design, and other related costs and just hope that we'd get enough traffic in future to sell ads/do affiliate marketing?
I hope I'm missing something obvious but the idea of trying to grow a business with nothing to sell is pretty new to me, so all advice is much appreciated!
