I run a review site and make money from affiliate commissions, and I'm building a kick-ass comparison engine for products in my niche.

The USP for the project is the detailed amount of data we collect on each product option, which is then used to compare them against each other and give the buyer a solid recommendation.

The problem is that once collected all that data will be out in the open for anyone else to come along and scrape. So bye bye USP.

How have you seen other sites handle this problem?
