I am currently doing a PPC campaign for a real estate acquisition company(I work for a “we buy houses” company). It has been impossible to keep up with all the bad clicks, who knew there was so many ways users could misspell “Zillow”!
To avoid users searching for “property to buy” or a “home to rent”, I have added roughly 3,000 negative keywords will little improvement on the quality of the clicks. Even worse, I am now receiving less clicks in general. I’ve done the keyword research and I know plenty of long-tail phrases with high volume-why can’t I reach these users?
I’m starting to lean towards starting over completely with keywords and negative keywords. I am desperately seeking advice on adjusting all keywords to get the right people to click while maintaining decent click volume.
