Moz domain Authority (DA) displays different values for Open Site Explorer and Link Explorer earn by blogging adsense income

Hi Guys

I have an expired domain which when i search on Open Site Explorer, it shows 16 while in link explorer it shows 36. i am just wondering the reason for this drastic difference even if the indexes are no longer update on OSE, it shouldn't be that much different for an expired domain right? thoughts?
