Speaking strictly in terms of data visualization (creating dashboards, easily digestible charts, etc), what type of opportunities could there be for entrepreneurs? I'm a software developer by day and a lot of my work involves UI/UX design as well. I'm naturally interested in data visualization and have already started some work on pairing location data with sentiment analysis for gauging consumer attitude based on geography. I'm not focused on a single product or service at the end of the day, but wanted to get my feet wet with something and ultimately use it as a proof-of-concept for the usefulness of data visualization.
Do any entrepreneurs here have some insight as to
a) Possible venues for this interest, as an SaaS, mobile app, custom dashboards on demand, etc?
b) Ways data visualization could assist your business?
