Am I soon to be wasting money? earn by blogging adsense income

Hi all,

Looking to boost my site on Google (www.GoToCambridge.co.uk).

A serviced accommodation platform specifically for the Cambridge area in UK. I'm on a budget, £300 per month. Now, would you see this as an adequate amount to start making improvements to the site? (running a start up so very strict budgets!)

I hope this figure would generate improvements to my sites ranking etc, but I'm just skeptical incase it's too low where that I'd be effectively pouring water in the sand with my money.
