Medium vs own site blog earn by blogging adsense income

I’m working for a company that is launching a new product and website. They’re trying to determine if they should host their own blog or use Medium.

My understanding is Medium is not ideal for SEO because all credit goes to the Medium domain and even for backlinks there’s no real benefit as Medium adds no follow tags to their posts.

A number of well ranking competitor sites are using Medium though. What’s the benefit as far as SEO (if there is one)?-

Legit website gave me bot like backlinks earn by blogging adsense income

I checked my Google analytics today and I reciv2ced 25 clicks in a short time period from a legit looking website.

The website has nothing to do with my niche and I can not find my link anywhere on the site. I am assuming this was a spam bot situation, though every other time that this has happend I could clearly see it was a bot.

Is this a situation that I should handle/block/look deeper into or leave it be?

Can you use structured data to mark up a locations page if the site is not yet live? earn by blogging adsense income

Optimizing a site that hasn't yet been published and wondering if this is something I need to put off for after launch.

Also, what is the absolute basic "must have" markup for a contact and/or locations page?

Thanks in advance

To disavow or not disavow, that is the question. earn by blogging adsense income

One of my clients has a very large number of bad website links (22% of their total back links). These links were not bought and were not earned by any other black hat techniques. At what point is it recommended to disavow and would you disavow all of the potentially spammy links?

Launched a webapp. Blog/landing page on root domain. App on sub domain. Should I combine? earn by blogging adsense income

Hi r/seo,

I’m looking for insight into how my website domain/subdomain setup will affect my SEO.

I’ve recently launched a Ruby on Rails webapp to help homeowners manage and coordinate their home maintenance. Before I launched I hosted a landing page and blog at the root domain via Wix. Since launching I’ve put the webapp on a sub domain (dashboard) and kept the Wix landing page and blog up on the root domain.

Some more background info: I only have a few articles up and my site is not yet linked to or heavily trafficked or linked to. I’m not ranking high in search engines yet either.

I have the ability to set up my site however I want going forward. I believe I have 3 options:

Status Quo: landing page/blog on root domain, app on subdomain Option 1: landing page/app on root domain, blog on subdomain Option 2: everything on root domain

My main reason for any of these setups would be SEO. I’m wondering

1. What should I be considering with each site architecture?
2. Is there an option (one I’ve listed or otherwise) that is clearly better than the rest?

Thank you for your time/help!
