My dad bought facebook and instagram likes for his business page without letting me know earn by blogging adsense income

I began to help out with SEO for my dad's business last month and also managing his facebook and instagram. starting last week, i started to see an unusual amount of followers constantly liking and following and I knew something was weird. so I asked my dad and found out that he's been buying facebook/instagram likes and he didn't even notify me about this. now i am worried this is going to have an effect on my SEO efforts. is this something I should be concerned about?
