Staging site already deleted by the Dev team but still indexed on Google. What to do? earn by blogging adsense income

All pages have been indexed (about 240 staging pages still on SERPs). I didn't find out sooner about this! I only found out when the dev team already deleted the staging site. (The staging pages are now returning 404 when you open it on SERPs.)

Google should eventually de-index these 404 staging pages, right? What else can I do?

Since the staging site was already deleted, I cannot create a GSC property anymore and remove URLs (submit removal requests.) I've only resubmitted the sitemap.xml. :(
