Changing domain name & seo + branding earn by blogging adsense income

A ten year old domain name that doesn't have a name that slips of the tongue.

There's a stop word in there too lol

Question is this. Is it worth to change to a smaller domain and brand name?

Has anyone changed both domain name and the brand name and retained their rankings?

Are there alternative options? Eg new domain name and duel brand it?
