How can SEO impact a company who doesn't do blog posts? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys, total SEO beginner here.

I work at a small architecture firm and I am doing the marketing single-handedly. Or at least trying.

First thing I did was get them a proper site. They were using Wix and it was honestly pretty bad in every regard. I transferred them over to Wordpress and build the website myself from the ground up and I am pretty proud of myself! I promoted the site on all our social media accounts, encouraging people to look at it and tell us what they think. I even got a lead!

But in the architecture field, everything is more visual. From what I know about SEO, it's revolved around blog-style content for it to be effective. Sure you can plug your keywords in your more important pages, meta tags, descriptions and all that. But for a company that isn't blogging (And quite frankly, I am not an architect so I am not too confident in writing about it), is SEO even worth it? What benefit would it bring without blogs, where it would be hard to rank high?

As for my current situation, if you want to point me into the right direction, be my guest since I am still learning. Should I try my hand at blogging and give it to an editor to look it over? Should I just focus on optimizing what I have now?
