Amazon Associates account finally banned. What to do with 1,000,000+ page views a month? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Looking for a bit of advice here.

A few years ago I stumbled across a pretty efficient way to make Amazon affiliate websites. Essentially I'd scrape content from Amazon, paste it back up on a Wordpress/Woocommerce site and stick my ID in there. I realised that Pinterest was a huge factor in getting these sites to rank and with the use of a few tools it was very little work. Once I'd made these 10k+ page mammoths I'd just set and forget them. The sites collectively pulled around $800 - $1000~ per month with 0 maintenance.

Last week I finally got the 'This account is closed and will not generate further referral fees.' message on my account. It says I should receive an email outlining why but I don't seem to have got it. I can only assume it's for using Amazon content.

What I have now are a few very ugly websites that are still sending a good amount of traffic to Amazon every day. The largest one still gets around 500k views a month.

I was wondering what people here might suggest I do with them?

Here are the options that I have come up with

1.) Find out what pages are actually indexed. Remove all the deadwood and then hire some writers to go through and rework all the content to please Amazon. Hire a developer to make the site actually function and have some purpose.

2.) Set up a dropshipping operation. Almost all of the products that people click through on are easily found on Aliexpress. Only concern here is TOS with PayPal, Braintree, Sage etc. My main business relies heavily on them.

3.) Flip them - Good whilst it lasted.

4.) Start a legit Authority site in the space and then just forward the old domains.

5.) Just put Adsense on there and continue to ignore them?

Has anyone else recently lost their accounts due to copied content?
