Does posting text from my site to reddit present an SEO risk? earn by blogging adsense income

I make explanations for the LSAT exam. I recently made a bot that lets people ping my site on reddit and get an explanation for a given question.

Right now it just pastes a link. I thought of posting the whole explanation, but I'm worried Googlebot may get confused and think Reddit wrote the text. (I had this happen on a personal site once when someone posted one of my articles as a guest article --> traffic to that page tanked)

Is this a real concern, and if so is there any way to mitigate it? I'd have the link accompanying whatever I posted. Unsure if I can use rel=canonical when posting to reddit. (The bot is a reddit bot)
