Has anyone edited Waze to fix an incorrect address listing? earn by blogging adsense income

Apologies if this is off-topic - I figured y'all might have some helpful advice on a NAP citation inconsistency.

A client has a location whose address is listed incorrectly in a few places, including Waze. This is a problem for two reasons - customers get lost trying to find the location, and also I'm worried it counts as a NAP citation inconsistency which could hurt their local search rankings.

Obviously I've fixed the error on basic citation sources like Manta, Yellowpages, GMB, etc, but I don't know how to fix Waze. Until I do, customers are going to keep getting lost, and they'll still have a possible inconsistent/wrong citation.

Given that Google owns Waze, does the map update itself using GMB data?

If not, I know there's a way for users to edit the Waze map - but I haven't done anything like that before, and I'm a bit intimidated.

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? Would you be willing to give me a step-by-step?

Many thanks!
