Need SEO help on my site and not sure where to start earn by blogging adsense income

Hello - I have very basic website (3 pages) and need help with the SEO function. I'll admit I don't know much about how it works and don't even know where to begin and how to get someone to help me with it. Could I just pay for someone to optimize it for me or how does it work?
