Deleting duplicated blog posts? earn by blogging adsense income

Hello,

After familiarizing myself with SEO, I realized I may have shot myself in the foot.

I was asked to write guest posts for other domains that are in the same niche as I'm in. That sort of stuff isn't a big deal. But what I used to do was create duplicated content.

In short, I submitted a guest post to a website, the website publishes it, and I use the exact same content on my blog and publish it there.

I now realized that search engines could mistake that sort of thing with being spammy.

So what's my best bet out of the two:

1. Delete the duplicated blog posts from the blog, and make a 410 header for each deleted post.
2. Do nothing, and just make sure I never do it again moving forward.
