Recently I've been seeing a lot of posts with a title like:
"I just quit my job, what should I do to make money??" or, "I have to make money within 3 months or I need to get a job again".
Today I wanted to share what I'm doing, which is the complete opposite way.
My business isn't doing too well. I sold my car and my scooter and most of that money has been drained through my horrible campaign which didn't turn up a single client. Though I was very close, a potential client bailed while the bar was on a figurative 98% completed. I could've gotten a full-time income from that client alone but now I have to bite the dust.
That means I have no money to invest and it sucks.
So that meant I had to swallow my pride against low-paying jobs and actually get one.
Now, it also mattered what kind of job I got. Sure I can manage retail hours alongside school but I thought that would gave me too much comfort. It would make it too easy. Humans hate pain so I chose another route.
I chose to be a paperboy. It means getting up at 4am, working till 7am, go to school for normal hours and then go to bed at 8pm. 6 days in the week. Lemme tell you, I fucking hate it. I've done a week of it and it makes me want to commit sudoku.
The combination of having basically zero time to work on my business and a job that I hate is an awesome motivator to work harder in order to be able to quit it again before the cold months start. And If I don't succeed early enough, a whole lot of pain will be added.
Just wanted to share that.
