"Hire a GOOD accountant" they say, but where do I find these good accountants? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I've got a fast growing ecommerce business and need CFO type person to handle bookkeeping, projections, budgets, etc. Haven't had an luck on upwork. Talked to a friend but feared it could get awkward and don't want to risk the friendship. Where do these magical good accountants that everyone on here says to hire exist?
