I'm starting a small cleaning company that charges clients on a monthly basis.
The one thing I have no idea is how to charge them. Do you collect upfront? Send them an invoice? And if you do, what happens if they don't pay it? Can you go digital like using Stripe?
Also, do I need them to sign a contract? Because there are plenty of landscaping companies in my area that have no legal work whatsoever.
I really just want to know how to go about charging them professionally, whether that's contracts, invoices, or what.
