So in the past week or so, I've been making it my business to acquire good followed backlinks from high-quality websites with good content and authority. In fact, I'm surprised that most of the ones I contacted were willing to help. I mean, it was only a few sites, but I'm still surprised nonetheless.
I guess what I'm wondering now is, how long does it take for their "link juice" to boost my site's rankings, domain authority, etc? I'm primarily looking at Moz for these attributes, but just generally scanning for backlinks doesn't show the new ones yet.
I do remember that my domain authority was crap back in November... I noticed several weeks later, my domain authority had doubled with only one followed link from a high authority website. So is it simply a matter of appearing when Google has re-crawled the linking site, or perhaps both our sites?
So my question is, when does the "link juice plant" really begin to grow out of the seed?
