I stumbled upon a method on Millenial Firedrill. Basically, the guy buys land from people who are delinquent on their taxes, then turns around and sells it to their neighbors. He has a system worked out and says he only works a few hours a week on it. He said you're able to buy about 4% of the leads you make an offer on, and able to flip about 90% of them in less than 6 mos. Sometimes the upside is 1000%. It gets a little more detailed than this, but that's the basics.
I know for a fact there are pitfalls, because anything that sounds too good to be true is. I just don't know enough about the industry to know what they are, and I haven't been able to find much online about this method. Hoping someone here has more insight!
