Hi all, I recently started helping my friend in his startup of building a rideshare app. Both of us plan to work on it full time, so the work to be done, such as market research, marketing, insurance, and beta launch will be split. The original idea is his and he has already put work in it, and he has paid $30,000 out of his own pocket to have the app professionally made. I recently started helping him out however the equity question popped up and I don't really know how much equity I should ask for. What would be a fair ratio for both of us, considering the work done, work to be done, and the money already put in?
