What is the formula for diminishing returns of backlinks from the same site? earn by blogging adsense income

I've been working with major media stations and also blogs and helping them with their stories, in exchange for a mention & backlink to my site.

I know that the more links you have from one site, the less valuable each link is. But what does the formula for that diminishing return look like? E.g. if the first link adds something like 100 'SEO score' to my site, how much 'SEO score' would the 2nd, 3rd or 4th link add?
