Is this even legal? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit so if not mods can delete my post.

Anyway few years ago I made a software product with my friend - for the sake of this discussion assume the name is PRODUCT-X.

After a couple of years it got recognized by the wider audience and we are happy with the page views. The problem is some other dudes started creating webpages with some similar products that base the KEYWORD on our PRODUCT-X name in following fashion:

"DON'T BUY PRODUCT-X IT DOESN'T WORK BUY OUR PRODUCT INSTEAD". "PRODUCT-X DAMAGES COMPUTERS, DONT USE IT"

So is there anything I can do to take it down or at least remove it from google search? I've tried to contact the site owner but they have no contact information on their website (imagine that) :)

I can't sue them really either - so this is out of the picture.
