We have a potential new client that has a company website that has been selling mostly furniture in the area. They recently added a "refurbished cell phone and accessories" section to the existing website as they want to branch out.
A couple of questions: * Would it be better to split off the "cell phone" site into its own domain as not to cause confusion with the other content? * Since he would be running both under one company, how does the Google My Business listing get affected in terms of SEO?
From my perspective, it would be best to separate the two but wanted to get your thoughts on SEO best practices.
