I am doing a website for a friend who is a general contractor (roofing, plumbing, etc.). He currently has a domain w/ the extension .com. After doing research, I found that there is a domain extension for contractors (.contractors). Instead of using the .com, my question - if he uses the .contractors domain extension, will this help with SEO? His domain (for this case) is anycitygeneralcontractors.com. If he uses, anycitygeneral.contractors, will this extension help w/ SEO rankings? Thx in advance.
