I want to create a wholesaler/distributor for a niche product grouping and I think it would be extremely lucrative in my local market. However, obviously to find investors I will need some sort of market research to back that up. How should I go about this? The only thing that comes directly to mind for me is to set up meetings directly with the type of business I will be supplying and ask them if they would want and use a distributor/one-stop shop for their product needs, find out what they are paying now for their supplies, and try and determine if we can beat those prices while also offering convenience. Any other ways I should go about evaluating the market?
