Is adding too much text in a product page a bad thing? earn by blogging adsense income

I have an eCommerce store with Shopify and am wondering if adding too much text to an individual product page is bad for SEO? Currently i have 500 self written words for a product that is being sold. However, there was one time where i wrote much more and Google Shopping wouldn't allow me to list it on Merchant Center unless i deleting some of the words.

I have separate tabs on my product listings such as 'overview', 'specifications' but i also want to add a 'FAQs' page, however i am afraid that it might effect my current ranking on Google.

Any suggestions?
