Starting on 9/15/2018, Search Console shows my site going from having 460 images indexed. On the 18th, it says 12. The number of submitted images continues to climb as I post more content.
If I actually do a Google image search of my site, it certainly shows more than 12 images.
I have made no major changes BUT just recently got the notification from Google that this site would be mobile first indexing. I did install a3 lazy load plugin. Those are the two deltas that I can think of.
My feeling is that this must be a search console reporting error? Does anybody have thoughts on what might cause this or if I should even be concerned?
