eBay sellers - I need a little bit of advice please entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I have started selling an item on eBay and made good profit. Nothing major, just some side money, making maybe about 100$ a month.

Now I would like to make more money. So I listed a couple few other items but they are not selling at all. Now eBay, it's not like a normal store front if you know waht I mean, I can't really make advertisement campagin to sell my item, since other people are selling it.

I guess what I'm asking here is, boosting sales, but, this isn't like regular sales. I'm just trying to find the key I'm missing here, is it simply because the item is not wanted. Should I buy other items to sell and just leave my remaining stock up and forget about it.

I only buy 10 items at a time for testing and this item sold 6 to a single person but that's it and it's been up around a month.

Like I said, I'm not looking for a clear answer and be lazy, I'm just looking, for pathing to what is wrong. I think it's simply because people don't really want the item?
