I have been looking into building a SaaS for a specific set of organizations. The market size is sizable, however, I'd like to explore the possibility of monetizing via ads. I would initially work with ad networks to display one or two ads, and eventually, reach out to brands and offer ad space to targeted groups within my userbase. Making this free would allow me to scale quickly including into schools.
I have considered making it a freemium version. However, I'd like to explore the possibility of primarily relying on ad revenue. Thoughts or experiences? Trying to get a firmer grasp on potential CPM offers. I have emailed a few networks.
