MVP, Successful Test Case, Monetized Business Model, and then the other shoe drops... entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Whew - finally made enough karma here to post.

I'm a USAF Veteran (computer programmer) who pivoted into the world of theater. Had a depressingly cliche experience watching a play, and decided that instead of the FBI, I could help the world much better by getting into the arts.

Moved up to NYC, and saw how crazy the business model for theater is. So, like any good soldier, I got to work on fixing it. Created the first part of an overall business model solution, worked on the MVP with a coder buddy (I was all legacy programming in the AF - he's the interwebs coding guy).

My buddy brought in a buddy of his, who liked the idea and the passion we had. Eventually, said other buddy wanted to invest, and put a few bucks into things.

We landed a client or two. Had a successful outing recently, proved our service works and makes people money (we tripled a certain organization's fundraising from two years prior on the same event).

Then my buddy got his girl pregnant. As did the other buddy (with his own girl... not, the same girl.... anywho, you know what I mean).

So now, it's just me... with about 2k left in funding to keep the lights on... 95% ownership of the company... no other job, just this gig.

Looking for some sounding board ideas - should the goal now be to go seek serious investment and hire a coder while I continue sales? Should I take a few months and pick up the coding skills and keep bootstrapping this thing? Are there other avenues that I'm blissfully ignorant of? Is more information necessary to get an informed conversation going?

I truly appreciate the time and energy anyone takes in replying to this. Thanks a ton in advance (and in the comments, undoubtedly).
