My father is a stonemason, I have been 1 since about 5yrs old. Besides this, I went to a technical high school and took CAD. I love design and building things. I'm a self taught everything. I can build a book shelf, build a stone wall or design you a logo. My father is a pain in the ass and I need to get out of working with him. Not good for a marriage when you're father isn't paying on time and not giving consistent work. It's over. My wife and I have 4 kids and she is a medical assistant 9-5. I need to make sure I'm flexible and not working for anyone else. I just don't know what to do. I feel like an ass starting another masonry business in a small town. What would you guys do?
