How/why did you choose your business partner? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

There was a post recently asking, "is it wrong to start a business, with yourself, wanting to be the sole owner". I think many of us would rather be the commander when starting our own business. The headache, communication and stress would be easier to deal with. But, communication skills are necessary and competent help or capital would be appreciated to help your business grow. I visit this sub because I've been thinking about starting a small business... But I will need help. What qualities or traits were a deciding factor to work with your business partner?
